Genelec is proud to offer active system packages. These packages include different monitor speaker models pair with their respective subwoofers from the Genelec line. Included in this PowerPak are two 8020 monitors with one 7040 subwoofer.
Genelec 8020 Monitors:
The small Genelec 8020C has been designed for monitoring in difficult listening environments, particularly those compromised by lack of space.
However, size is no handicap to performance as the 8020C two-way active monitoring system incorporates Genelec's acoustic design innovations to minimise all forms of distortion.
Our Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) feature, reduces power consumption to less than 0.5 watts by automatically switching the active monitor to standby, when no audio signal has been detected for some time. When it receives an audio signal again, the loudspeaker turns back on. ISS is fully compliant with the latest EU requirements and the ErP 2013 Directive for electronic devices.

Genelec 7040 Subwoofer:
Offering a professional and reliable low frequency reproduction system in a transportable package the Genelec 7040A is the ideal companion to complement Genelec 8010 and 8020 monitors. It extends the low frequency response down to 30 Hz and uses Genelec's patented Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE™) technology which provides precise bass articulation and extended low frequency capacity. This stereo subwoofer system can produce 100 dB of undistorted SPL using a 6.5 inch woofer and a powerful Genelec-designed Class D amplifier. With its very small footprint, the 7040A is the subwoofer solution for recording and composing/project studios, mobile vans and portable recording systems.
