The SAS STrack Luna 8 is a professional rackmount Dante mic/line I/O interface designed for commercial AV, live production, recording, worship, municipal, education, and broadcast environments. Built in a 3RU chassis, Luna 8 provides eight analog XLR inputs and eight analog XLR outputs, giving system designers a compact, high-density way to connect local analog audio sources and destinations to a Dante network.
Each analog input supports mic or line-level operation with microphone preamp gain and phantom power available per input channel. Analog outputs are line level. Luna 8 provides matching Dante channel capacity for its physical I/O, with Dante Primary and Secondary RJ45 ports for redundant network audio operation. A separate RJ45 control port provides out-of-band control access.
The front-panel screen, knob, and buttons allow IP address assignment and local interaction. Through the control network connection, users can access a web GUI with adjustable input and output faders for each channel, along with individual input and output channel level metering. Dante routing and network configuration are handled through Dante Controller.
