The 4 DHu Digital Encrypted Bodypack Wireless System from Lectrosonics is a compact, professional two-channel wireless solution designed for broadcast, film and television production, live performance, rental, and house-of-worship applications.
The DHu transmitter is a 4th-generation digital design featuring specially developed, high-efficiency circuitry for extended operating time on two AA batteries. The transmitter tunes in coarse or fine steps across the UHF television band from 470–608 MHz (470–614 MHz for export versions) with selectable 25 mW or 50 mW RF output power. A pure digital architecture enables AES-256 CTR encryption for high-level security applications.
The top panel includes the antenna jack, audio input jack, audio level LEDs, and a programmable function switch. Red/green LEDs indicate audio levels from −20 dB through the onset of limiting for precise input gain adjustment. The programmable switch can be configured for mute, power on/off, talkback, or bypass operation.
Studio-quality audio performance is achieved through premium preamp components, wide-range input gain control, and DSP-controlled limiting. Input connections and settings support lavaliere microphones, dynamic microphones, and line-level sources. Input gain is adjustable over a 44 dB range in 1 dB steps, allowing precise matching to the input signal to maximize dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio.
The DSQD receiver delivers ultra-low-latency digital audio with extended operating range, continuously tunable tracking filters, and both analog and digital audio outputs. Rear-panel antenna inputs with loop-through capability support remote antenna systems, with optional front-panel antenna mounting available.
