Get a studio classic that wears many hats and sets the style with each and every one of them.
This versatile condenser features a large dual-diaphragm capsule with three directional patterns-omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-8-that you can select with the flip of a switch. It offers a smooth frequency response with whatever pattern you use, while its 10 dB attenuation switch helps it easily handle sound pressure levels up to 127 dB without distorting. An additional switch lets you reduce low frequency interference and use the mic up close without fear of bottom end boom.
Ideal for all sorts of general-purpose applications in studios, broadcast, film and television, it also works great for orchestral recording.
