The TLM 170 R is a large diaphragm condenser featuring five selectable directional characteristics, a 10 dB attenuation switch for extremely high sound pressure levels, a high-pass filter to suppress structure borne noise and an impressive dynamic range to give you unsurpassed versatile performance in a variety of applications.

Boasting transformerless circuitry for a balanced audio signal, its transparent, uncolored sound reproduction and excellent sound pressure handling capability make it especially effective for recording wind instruments.
