StreamS IOdigi2X™ is a simple AES/EBU –S/PDIF compatible Hi-Speed USB UAC-2 Digital Audio Interface providing one stereo digital input and one stereo digital output. It is Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS/iOS, and Linux ALSA device compatible, and uses class drivers, which means there is no driver installation necessary for basic operation using modern operating systems. For advanced features using Microsoft Windows, there is a full-featured StreamS IOdigi2X UAC-2 WDM/ASIO Driver provided. This is the easiest and quickest way to get professional quality audio in and/or out of a computer system.
StreamS IOdigi2X™ can be used for any synchronous bit-accurate, high sample rate play and/or record application, and uses either internal or external clock. This includes any kind of digital audio workstation, streaming audio encoder, or FM MPX radio applications. Bit-accuracy also allows use for test instrumentation measurement and signal generation. Several audio test software applications are available for different computer platforms.
StreamS IOdigi2X™ uses a high quality XMOS® xCORE audio engine for premium performance. It is suitable for pro-audio, broadcast, netcast, and consumer applications.
