AM broadcast towers that are base insulated require special transformers to permit the installation of AC power lines on the tower, such as those needed to power tower lighting. One such transformer available for this requirement is the tower lighting choke. Kintronic Labs manufactures a complete line of tower lighting chokes in various wire gauges and numbers of conductors. Custom chokes are also available upon request. Bowl insulators with hollow studs to permit routing of tower lighting out of a cabinet are also available
