Adam Repp, Sales Representative
Preferred title: Adam Repp, “The Rep!”
Favorite thing about your job: Coming from live sound and studio recording, I am seeing a completely different side of the industry. I am grateful for the knowledge that our customers are passing on to me!
When not working: I am out for a run, at a local climbing gym, gulping a microbrew, or practicing my home recording techniques.
On my Radio: NPR, local college stations, and classic rock.
Words of wisdom: “A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.”
Favorite movie: It’s a three-way tie between The Thing (1982), The Life Aquatic, and Everything Is Illuminated.
Dream dinner guests: Bill Murray, Mark Twain, Les Paul, and Geoff Emerick would make for excellent company!
Favorite vacation destination: Remote locations where I can truly “get away.” I enjoy camping in the desert, exploring the Olympic Peninsula, and roasting in the summer heat of Lake Shasta. Berlin is next, mark my words…
My Passion is: Pursuing an active lifestyle that promotes positive health and plenty of good cooking.
In 2009, I graduated from Washington State University with a B.A. in Hospitality Business Management. I sharpened my customer service skills in the hotel industry, and I am proud to bring them to BSW!
I discovered my love for audio in college, while interning at a professional recording studio. Working primarily with jazz artists and classical performers, I was granted an inside perspective to the wonderful world of recording! I eventually moved into live sound, setting up large house systems and running monitor boards while managing a 1920’s Cristie film projector on the side.
In my spare time, I like to be active. Distance running and rock climbing are my current passions, in addition to home recording and music composition. Growing up a classical pianist, I have since discovered the joys of electric instruments. I am a guitarist and bassist by trade these days, and my excessive collection of instruments and effects grows every year. Plug it in and turn it up!
